“In your actions, don’t procrastinate. In your conversations, don’t confuse. In your thoughts, don’t wander. In your soul, don’t be passive or aggressive. In your life, don’t be all about business.”
MARCUS AURELIUS, MEDITATIONS, 8.51
Today’s entry in The Daily Stoic is a short one, and author Ryan Holiday references the quote above to remind us to keep things simple.
You know what you should do, by virtue of reading the book, and from reading my reflections here on Meditations by Billy. When faced with a decision in your life, the right and good decision should be obvious because you’ve been studying stoicism and working to apply it in your life.
Don’t overthink it, don’t overcomplicate. Just do what is right.
In all things, all the time. Keep it simple, stoic. And stay focused.
